The high molybdenum content of 254 SMO Seamless Tubes can lead to an increased oxidation rate at annealing and as a consequence rougher surface finish after pickling than standard stainless steels. 254 SMO Welded Tubes has a good weldability and the methods used for welding conventional austenitic steels are used. 254 SMO EFW Tubes is substantially stronger than the common austenitic grades, but is also characterized by high ductility and impact strength.In new-fangled construction, 254 SMO ERW Tubes has been establish in a lot of cases to be a theoreticallyacceptable and more cost effectual substitute for additional nickel-based alloys along with titanium.In 254 SMO Tubes, post-process annealing is required to re-attain maximum corrosion resistant properties.
