Stainless Steel 321 Pipes are a common austenitic stainless steel alloy. It has excellent forming, welding, and phase stability properties. Because of its stability, the material is known for its resistance to intergranular corrosion. This makes it suitable for applications in intermittent service temperatures. SS 321 Seamless Pipes have a minimum tensile strength of 515 Mpa. The addition of titanium to the alloy boosts its strength. Alloy 321 is commonly used in engineering and chemical equipment. It has a maximum hardness of Rockwell 95 HRB. Aside from its machinability, the SS 321 Steel is resistant to atmospheric corrosion, inorganic chemicals, and chlorides. Stainless 321 is suitable for use in applications that involve high temperatures. SS 321 Pipe is preferred over stainless steel 304l pipe in the high-temperature range due to its better strength and formability. Moreover, it can be welded in place using standard shop fabrication procedures. Stainless 321 Pipe is also resistant to aqueous corrosion and subsequent aqueous corrosion. Usually, it is used in functions between 800 and 1650 Degrees C.

Stainless Steel 321 Tubes are austenitic 18/8 stainless steel alloys stabilized with titanium. This addition to the alloy makes it more resistant to intergranular corrosion. It also helps to prevent carbide precipitation during welding. SS 321 is used in a wide variety of applications. In general, 321 tubing is a very tough and heat-resistant alloy ideal for high-temperature applications. Typical applications include high-pressure steam and boiler tubes, pressure vessels, and manifolds.
The material is also used in radiant superheaters, heavy-duty exhaust systems, and oil refinery equipment. Stainless 321 is also known for its resistance to atmospheric corrosion, sterilizing solutions, and various inorganic chemicals. SS 321 is often chosen for its resistance to carbide precipitation. While chromium carbide can form if exposed to temperatures over 900 degrees Fahrenheit, this process is less likely to occur with small-diameter SS 321 tubing. Aside from its excellent forming and welding properties, SS 321 Tubes are also very resistant to scaling and intergranular corrosion. In addition, they have a minimum tensile strength of 515 Mpa.
The 321 alloy is a commonly used austenitic stainless steel, which offers improved corrosion resistance. It is a chromium-nickel alloy that can be welded and fabricated in various forms. In addition to its rust resistance, the material is also resistant to various inorganic chemicals. AISI 321 stainless steel tubes are ideal for applications that require a high degree of ductility. This type of alloy is commonly used in heavy welded equipment that operates at temperatures between 800 and 1500 degrees F.
Kenco tube is among the top manufacturers and dealers of SS 321 Pipes and tubes, which are used because they are not sensitive to intergranular corrosion after heating within the carbide precipitation range of 425-850 Degrees C. Stainless Steel 321 Tubes are used for functions in the temp range of approximately 900 Degrees C, uniting soaring potency, phase stability and resistance to scaling using resistance to succeeding aqueous corrosion. Like other austenitic grades, Alloy 321 Pipes Tubes have excellent forming and welding characteristics, are readily brake or roll formed, and have outstanding welding characteristics.
Post-weld annealing is not required, whereas 321 Stainless Steel Tubes is heat resistant, titanium stabilized, austenitic alloy commonly used for service in the 1000 Degree F – 1600 Degree F temperature range. Grade 321 Pipes Tubes is primarily used in applications that involve continuous and intermittent service temperatures within the carbide precipitation range of 800 Degree -1500 Degree F. Stainless Steel 321 Seamless Pipes is similar to SS 304 but with a titanium addition of at least five times the carbon content. This titanium addition in b Stainless Steel 321 Welded Pipes reduces or prevents carbide precipitation during welding. We also offer these products in different sizes and shapes per client’s requirements.
The basic austenitic 18/8 steel (Grade 304) is stabilised by additions of Titanium (321) or Niobium (347). These grades are used because, when heated within the carbide precipitation range of 425-850 °C, they are not prone to intergranular corrosion.
312 pipe is a general purpose stainless steel pipe that is used in a variety of industries. It accommodates diameters ranging from 1/8" to 30" and thicknesses ranging from SCH 10S to SCH 80S.
