ASME SB574 Alloy C22 Bars can be cut using any conventional plasma arc cutting system, where the best arc quality is achieved using a mixture of argon and hydrogen gases. The availability of carbon, silicon and iron elements tends to lower reduction rate of corrosion resistance property of ASME SB574 Alloy C22 Rods in welded form. Limiting content of other alloying elements like iron and chromium in ASTM B574 Hastelloy UNS N06022 Round Bars has solved other problems such as fabricability, where nitrogen gas can be substituted for hydrogen gases, but the cut quality will deteriorate slightly. Meanwhile, Hastelloy Nickel Alloy C22 Round Bars should not be used in ferric or cupric salts environment in case of rapid corrosion failure.
