In reducing gases or in vacuum, ASME SB335 Alloy B2 Round Bars can be used from 815 Degree C (1500 Degree F) to substantially higher temperatures.
ASME SB335 Alloy B2 Bars resists the formation of grain boundary carbide precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, making it suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition. In a vacuum, ASME SB335 Alloy B2 Rods may be used from 1600 Degree F to substantially higher temperatures. ASME SB335 Nickel Alloy B2 Round Bars provides excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. The heat-affected weld zones in these ASTM B335 Hastelloy UNS N010665 Round Bars have reduced precipitation of carbides and other phases to ensure uniform corrosion resistance.
