Grade 347 Flanges is a stabilized alloy whose specialty is the exceptional resistance to intergranular corrosion. 347 Stainless Steel Flanges can only be hardened by cold working and not by heat treatment, where it is feasible for welding and can be processed by standard shop fabrication. 347 Stainless Steel Pipe Flanges is designed to gain higher creep resistance and it can bear higher temperatures up to 1000 Degree F (537 Degree C). Type 347 Flanges is similar to Type 321, but with slightly improved corrosion resistance in strongly oxidizing environments. Type 347 Pipe Flanges is essentially non-magnetic in the annealed condition and can only be hardened by cold working.
