ASME SB637 Alloy X-750 Bars are oxidation- and corrosion-resistant materials well suited for service in extreme environments subjected to high pressure and kinetic energy. ASME SB637 Alloy X-750 Rods resists steam and mixtures of steam, air and carbon dioxide, which has useful resistance to dry Cl2 and HCl gases at moderately elevated temperatures. When heated, Inconel UNS N07750 Round Bars forms a thick and stable passivating oxide layer protecting the surface from further attack, where further it is not suggested for use at red heat when sulfur is present due to elevated nickel quantities.
