Below 700 Degree C in this ASME SB408 Alloy 800HT Round Bars, gamma prime precipitates combined with loss of ductility and have excellent creep strength at temperature above 700 Degree C. For applications where frequent excursions to temperatures lower than 700 Degree C during service cannot be excluded or parts of the material are permanently exposed to a temperature below 700 Degree C, the use of ASME SB408 Alloy 800HT Bars is recommended.
Titanium nitrides, titanium carbides, and chromium carbides normally appear in the microstructure of ASME SB408 Alloy 800HT Rods, where the nitrides are stable at all temperatures below the melting point and are therefore unaffected by heat treatment. ASTM B408 Inconel 800HT Round Bars is also moderate in strength with good resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures for long periods of time at 1200 Degrees F - 1600 Degrees F. ASTM B408 Inconel UNS N08811 Round Bars is used in chemical and petrochemical industries, power plants, industrial furnaces and heat treating equipment.
